There is no small question
Changes in periods, pelvic discomfort, pregnancy questions or concerns after childbirth are all reasons to speak to a gynecologist. You do not need to wait until a concern becomes difficult to manage.
If possible, note the dates of your last periods, symptoms and medicines. You can ask about privacy, the examination and bringing someone you trust.
When not to wait
Heavy bleeding with faintness, severe abdominal pain or pain and bleeding during pregnancy need urgent assessment. Go to the nearest hospital rather than waiting for a routine appointment.
Your doctor can explain which checkups or screening are appropriate for your age and circumstances. This guide is general information, not a diagnosis.
This article is educational and does not replace a medical consultation. In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call 1122.
